Jabez Smith House closed temporarily for renovations The Jabez Smith House, a c. 1783 colonial farmhouse owned by the Town of Groton and located at 259 North Road, will be closed to the public from June 4th through July 29th for renovations. Normal visiting hours will resume on July 30th with the house being open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. through November 30th. Tours outside of these times can be arranged throughout the year by calling (860) 445-6689.
