2012 FEMA Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps for Coastal Properties
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued preliminary coastal flood maps and a new Flood Insurance Study for all of New London County. Follow the links to view the Groton maps, the Flood Insurance Study and a letter from FEMA describing how the maps were developed and the appeal process. Paper copies of the maps and study can be viewed at the Office of Planning and Development Services located at 134 Groton Long Point Road, weekdays between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
