Welcome to the Town of Groton, Connecticut

Join the Playground Inclusion Project

In 2005, Groton built the Tercentennial Playground, located in Poquonnock Plains Park.  At the time, a lot of thought was put into how we could make the playground inclusive for families, generations, abilities, and the community.  In the years since, thousands of children and their families have enjoyed the playground together and it has become an important gathering spot for many in Groton and beyond!

A lot has changed in the last 15 years and we are looking at how we can improve the playground to be even more inclusive!  We need citizens with ideas and motivation to step forward and lead us in the effort to ensure that Groton remains a leader in inclusion.
