Elderly and Disabled Renter's Rebate Program

Application Dates: April 1—October 1, 2022
Who Is Eligible: Current Groton Residents 65 years or older as of 12/31/21, or totally and permanently disabled Groton residents as of 12/31/21, who paid rent (partial or full year) in Connecticut in 2021.
Income Guidelines: Up to $38,100 for Singles; $46,400 for Married Couples
What You Need to Apply:
  • Copy of 2021 Income Tax, if filed
  • Proof of all Rent paid in 2021 (Rent receipts or letter)
  • Proof of all utility bills paid in 2021
  • Proof of all Income for 2021
  • (i.e. Wages, SSA-1099, Pensions, Interest, etc.)
You May Be Eligible for a Rebate Between $50-$900!
