Groton's Season of Celebrations

The Groton community is gearing up for a spectacular holiday event that aims to bring families together in the true spirit of the season. The 'Season of Celebrations' event, scheduled for December 2nd, from 5 PM to 7 PM, at the Thrive55+ Senior Center, is set to be an enchanting evening filled with festive activities, delightful treats, and heartwarming moments.
This one-of-a-kind event is a celebration of diverse holiday traditions, encompassing Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day. Organized by a team of dedicated community members, the 'Season of Celebrations' is designed to showcase the rich cultural tapestry of the Groton area. Formerly known as the Holiday Kick-Off, for the past few years this event has drawn lively crowds to the Thrive 55+ Active Living Center to commemorate the start of the holiday season. The new name and branding are designed to be more descriptive, to vividly convey the full spectrum of the season’s celebrations and to set the event apart as a can’t-miss occasion as the year comes to a close.
