Rate Change for Transfer Station Fees

At their meeting on July 6, 2021 the Groton Town Council, acting as the Groton Resource Recovery Authority (GRRA), approved new rates for the Town of Groton Residential Transfer Station.  The new rates will be effective on September 1, 2021.

The cost of an annual permit will be reduced by 50% when purchased after March 1st.

The one time cost to purchase a daily pass ($20) can be credited toward the purchase of an annual permit if purchased within 30 days. All other rates remain unchanged. This notice will be posted at the Town Clerk’s Office (45 Fort Hill Road), the Town Hall Annex (134 Groton Long Point Road), the residential Transfer Station (685 Flanders Road), on the Town’s Facebook page, and on our website at www.groton-ct.gov.
