Diversity Discussion Group
The Groton Public Library’s Diversity Discussion Group aims to help every member feel a sense of belonging and understanding. Using an empathetic approach, we hope to engage readers in productive and enlightening conversations by exposing them to different cultures, educating them on issues of inequity and bias, and allowing them to experience the perspectives of others in a safe and inviting atmosphere. Each quarterly meeting focuses on a different aspect of diversity. No reading is required, but multiple resources and recommendations are available. This group is open to all individuals over the age of 16.
