The Human Services Department includes two divisions: Groton Social Services and Groton Youth and Family Services. All services are provided free of charge to Groton residents.
Families and individuals residing within the Town of Groton are encouraged to inquire about the programs and services provided by the Department of Human Services. Our staff is available weekdays from 8:30AM until 4:30PM. Extended office hours are offered by appointment only. If you need help because of financial problems, housing issues, no food or heat, health concerns, family difficulties, parenting issues, senior issues, transportation or child care questions, we have staff who can be of assistance.
